In all honesty,
I am a pile of rubble. But let me tell you how good my God is.
October came in like a wrecking ball.
(You know a month has been rough, when you start quoting Miley.)
This month has been drenched in tears.
Tears of complete and utter joy. Tears of deep sadness and disillusionment.
Celebration of homecoming + grief over loss.
New friendships + strained relationships.
The list could on... but I'm sure you already understand.
I’m tired. Boy, am I tired.
October came in like a wrecking ball.
But my God is a restorer, a rebuilder of homes. He laughs tenderly at my ideas and expectations and says, “Let me show you who I am and what I can do! I am good. I am for you.”
I’m thankful for the friends who wield Truth and walk through this valley of dry bones with me. We will see another mountain soon. Because God is good. He is ever faithful, the constant one.
Kelsey. Giselle. Jessica. Thank you.
So, here I am. Proclaiming to the world again that I am a mess. I live in the tension of who I am now and who I am becoming. But the Lord is my firm foundation. He is the builder. He is making me new, again and again. Nothing is wasted.
As I step into the unknown, I am encouraged that I am right where I am supposed to be.
